Pull Apart Taco

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken or beer (ground or otherwise)
  • Taco Seasoning (to taste)
  • Tortillas (I use Mission Low Carb but any will do)
  • 1 8oz block of Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 Cup Salsa (of choice)
  • (Optional) Small can Green Chili’s (I use Chi Chi’s)
  • Shredded cheese of choice

Directions

  1. You may use Springform pan, pie plate or whatever type of baking pan you desire
  2. • Cook protein, adding taco seasoning during cooking, simmer until desired doneness
  3. • Mix in cream cheese (I actually used only 1/2 block per pound but you may adjust as desired)
  4. • Mix in salsa (adjust amount to taste)
  5. • Add Chiles as needed. I generally add whole small can
  6. • Lay tortilla out, add mixture to one end of tortilla and roll. Fill tortilla end to end.
  7. • Cut filled, rolled tortillas into pieces similar to height of your baking dish
  8. • Fill baking dish with rolled pieces until packed full
  9. • Cover with cheese of your liking
  10. • Cook 375 degrees for approx 30 mins or until cheese is bubbly….
