Pumpkin Scones With Cranberry Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c. Flour
  • 1/4 Brown sugar
  • 2t. Baking powder
  • 1 1/2 t. Pumpkin spice
  • 1/4 t. Salt
  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. Pumpkin
  • 1/3 c. Milk
  • Cranberry butter
  • 2T. Dried cranberries
  • 1/2 c. Boiling water
  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 3T. Powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine flour, brown sugar, pumpkin spice. Add salt and cut in butter. Add egg, pumpkin and milk. Bake 12-15 minutes. Cool on a rake serve with cranberry butter.
  2. Combine cranberries and boiling water.let stand 10 minutes then drain. Chop berries. Mix butter, powdered sugar and stir together with berries. Chill at least 1 hour.
