Ingredients

  • 1 tin kala chana
  • Ginger garlic paste 3 tablespoon
  • Chopped mint leaves
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 large tomatoes pureed
  • Chole masala n jeera pwdr 1 tsp each
  • Oil to cook
  • 3 green chillies diced
  • Haldi powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Dhania powder 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 large onion ground
  • Ground kala chana

Directions

  1. Heat pan. Add onion, cook till all water evaporated.
  2. Add oil n fry till brown
  3. Add ginger garlic paste, cook
  4. Add tomato purée, haldi powder, salt, red chilli powder, green chillies, chole n jeera powder. Mix well
  5. Add chopped coriander n mint leaves. Mix well n cook the masala.
  6. Add kala chana, some water and mix well.
  7. Add ground kala chana and mix well.
  8. Pressure cook n 1 whistle.
  9. Add coriander powder n garam masala. Add coriander leaves n mix well.
  10. Optionally add juice of 1/2 lemon for tangy flavour.
