Puppy Chow
Ingredients
- 9 c Chex Mix corn cereal
- 1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips (I used a bit more because I like chocolate)
- 1/2 c peanut butter
- 1/2 c butter or margarine
- 1 TSP vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c powdered sugar
Directions
- In a large bowl, measure cereal and set aside.
- In a pot melt the chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter. Mix together and stir frequently. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
- Pour mixture over the cereal and coat all pieces. Pour cereal into a 2 gallon resealable bag and add the powdered sugar. Seal the bag and shake so all pieces are covered.
- Spread over waxed paper or a cookie sheet to cool. Store in an air tight container.
