  • 1 1/2 lbs medium red potatoes sliced
  • 1/2 yellow onion sliced
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large wok over high heat until shimmering. Add the mustard seeds (cover to catch popping mustard seeds).
  2. After the seats stop sputtering add the turmeric and stir, then add the onion potatoes salt and cayenne. Cover and cook on medium heat until tender, approximately 20 minutes.
