Ingredients

  • 500g chicken thigh
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 x small brown onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 Tbsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients and marinate chicken for at least an hour. The longer the better.
  2. Pan fry or grill on the BBQ until cooked through and serve.
