Shrimp: Honey Garlic With Sausage & Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Cook the Sausage:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for 4-5 minutes, until browned and crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Broccoli:
In the same skillet, add the butter. Once melted, add the broccoli florets and sauté for 3-4 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the sausage.

Cook the Shrimp:
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and cooked through.

Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Pour the mixture over the shrimp and let it simmer for 2 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.

Combine and Serve:
Return the sausage and broccoli to the skillet, tossing everything together in the honey garlic sauce. Stir well to coat and serve hot.
