Preheat oven to 450*
Beat together milk, eggs, flour, honey, salt, cardamom and lemon zest until very smooth.
In a heavy 10-12- inch skillet, melt butter. As soon as it’s quite hot, pour in the batter. Top with strawberries and put the skillet in the oven.
After 10 minutes, lower the temp to 350* and continue baking for another 10 minutes. It should be light brown and crisp.
Sprinkle a little powdered sugar over the top. Serve with lemon wedges.
