Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 375g small mushrooms
  • 1 1/2c fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 6 shallots or spring onions, chopped finely
  • 1 onion, chopped finely
  • 2T parsley, chopped
  • 1/4t thyme
  • 1 egg
  • 1T milk
  • 1t black sauce
  • 1 1/2t French mustard
  • S/P
  • 1T lemon juice
  • 60g butter
  • 125g cheese,
  • Paprika

Directions

  1. Remove stems from mushrooms and chop finely.
  2. To a bowl add breadcrumbs, garlic, shallots, onion, parsley, thyme, mushroom stems, sauce, mustard, S&P and mix well.
  3. Fill mushroom caps with mixture.
  4. Heat butter in in ovenproof dish, add lemon juice.
  5. Put mushrooms in dish, sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
  6. Bake in mod oven 7-10m
