Sweet Potato Spiced Cake

Ingredients

• For the cake:

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

• 1 cup packed dark or light brown sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
• 4 large eggs
• 2 cups mashed, cooked sweet potatoes (from about 2 medium baked sweet potatoes )
• 1/4 cup sour cream
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• For the frosting:
• 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese, at room temperature
• 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
• 3 cups powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
