Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs ​Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 Tbs Chana dal (uncooked)
  • 5-6 Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Tumeric
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 3 Tomatoes, chopped

Directions

  1. ​Heat the sesame oil and sautee the mustard seeds and chana dal until browned.
  2. Add the curry leaves and flash-fry them until crispy.
  3. Add the tomato, salt, tumeric, and chili powder. Continue to cook until soft and mushy.
