Chop all the vegetables. Sauté the onion and celery till soft, add carrots and Brussels sprouts cook till soft, then add mushrooms. Add herbs, bay leaves, salt&pepper. Add 4 cup broth. Let simmer 1 hour. Bring to boil then add noodles. When noodles done add remaining broth and remove from heat. Serve hot, add salt if needed. Store extra servings in freezer containers
