  • 12 - 16 ounces water, warmed 1⁄2 lemon, juiced
  • 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Boil 4 ounces of warm water in a pot over the stovetop or in an electric tea kettle, setting the rest aside.
  2. After the water boils, pour it into a cup with the rest of the room temperature water.
  3. Cut a lemon in half and squeeze it into the water.
  4. Measure 1⁄8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and sprinkle it into the water.
  5. Stir the water, lemon and cayenne together.
  6. Save the other lemon half for tomorrow morning.
