Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • shredded cheese

Directions

  1. Combine corn starch and milk in a small sauce pan and stir until smooth. Add butter, salt and pepper. Stir constantly over medium heat. Simmer for 1 minute.
  2. To make cheese sauce you stir in 1 cup shredded cheese at end of cooking time until melted and mixture is smooth.
