Winter Grilling: Cranberry Orange BBQ Ribs on Monument Grill

Ingredients

  • 1 Rack of Pork Back Ribs
  • 1 Cup Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 Cup Monument Grills Texas Sweet BBQ Sauce
  • Juice from 1 Orange
  • Monument Grills Texas Pork Rub to Taste
  • 1 Green Onion (diced)

Directions

  1. Soak wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill to 300°F, set up for indirect cooking.
  3. Flip the rack of ribs over and slice between each of the bones, separating into individual pieces.
  4. Season all sides of the ribs with Monument Grills Texas Pork Rub.
  5. Insert the smoker box between two burners set to High temp. Fill with wood chips.
  6. Place the ribs directly on the grill grates opposite the burners that are on. Smoke for 2 hours.
  7. After 2 hours, move the ribs to a foil pan. Add cranberry sauce, Monument Grills Texas Sweet BBQ Sauce, and orange juice. Cover with foil and cook for one additional hour.
  8. Optional: Remove the ribs from the pan and grill over the direct heat side for 10 minutes to add additional char.
  9. Return to the pan, toss in the sauce, and garnish with green onion.
