Cottage Pie

Ingredients

  • 500g 5% fat mince beef
  • Heinz Baked beans
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcester sauce
  • 200ml water
  • Knorr Beef Stock
  • 400g potatoes
  • 100ml skimmed milk
  • 25g butter
  • 200g grated cheddar cheese

Directions

Turn Oven on to 180c

Brown off mine in a frying pan

Add in water, carrots, onion & garlic powder, Worcester sauce and beef stock

Reduce down sauce slightly and after 15-20 minutes add in baked beans and warm through.

Transfer to oven proof dish

Bring potatoes to a boil, once soft remove water and being to mash them, adding in milk and butter. Once smooth, place mased potato on top of mince in oven proof dish.

Sprinkle over grated cheese and place in oven for 20 minutes until cheese is melted
