Brown Rice Paratha

Ingredients

  • ☆ 1 cup brown rice flour
  • ☆ 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • ☆ 1/2 cup grated carrots or bottle gourd or both 1/4 cup each
  • ☆ 1/3 cup grated fresh coconut
  • ☆ 1/3 cup chopped coriander or 1-2 sprig curry leaves
  • ☆ 1.5 tsp grated ginger
  • ☆ 1-2 tbsp ghee/ nut butter
  • ☆ 1 tsp rock salt
  • ☆ 1 tsp whole cumin
  • ☆ 1/2 cup water or as needed

Directions

1) Roast rice four for 5-7 minutes on slow medium flame.
2) Mix all the ingredients in a bowl to knead a dough.
3) Make 5 balls from this dough.
7) Then flip the roti with the help of parchment paper on the heated tava.
8) Cook the roti from both sides on the tava till brown spots appear
9) Serve with raita, salad, dal or your choice of sabji.
