• 2 tablespoons tomato paste
• 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
• ½ cup red wine or beef broth
• ¼ cup all-purpose flour, plus more as needed
• 4 cups beef broth, plus more as needed
• 3 medium Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and diced see note below
• 2 dried bay leaves
• Chopped parsley
• Olive oil
• Salt and pepper to taste
