Sticky Kickin Wings


  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 4 large chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 fresh red chilli
  • 2 spring onions


1. Toast sesame seeds in a frying pan on medium heat until golden then remove to plate
2. Still on heat, put the wings on the pan and let them colour for one minute on each side
3. Add the teriyaki and cover the wings with water
4. Halve the chilli lengthways and add to pan
5. Summer for 35-40 mins or until the chicken is tender and the sauce is sticky, turning occasionally
6. Add a splash of red wine vinegar
7. Trim and finely slice the spring onions and scatter over the the chicken with the toasted sesame seeds
