  • ¾ teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs (can also use chicken breast)
