Mama’s Potato Soup

Ingredients
- 10 medium red potatoes
- 10 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 medium carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2-3 T. minced chives
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. flour
- 4 c. whole milk
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 2 c. water
- 3 t. chicken bullion
Directions
