In large bowl, mix oil and syrup for 4-5 minutes until we’ll combined. Add eggs and vanilla and mix for 2 minutes more. Slowly add dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and almonds.
Drop by large tablespoons onto baking sheet and press down slightly. (15 per sheet)
Bake about 15 minutes, until golden and set. (If baking both sheets at once, switch positions half way through.)
