Ingredients

  • Tarte de amêndoa
  • Bottom crust:
  • 2 cups of flour
  • One melted butter stick (115g)
  • One cup of sugar
  • Two eggs
  • Filling:
  • Half a cup of sugar
  • One melted butter stick
  • 200 g of shredded almonds
  • 4 tbsp of milk

Directions

First step for bottom crust:

  1. Set oven to 375
  2. Use the French tarte pan
  3. Butter and flour bottom pan
  4. Mix all by hand
  5. Spread dough and poke with a fork
  6. Cook for 20-22 minutes, remove from oven
  7. Make filling

Filling:

  1. Blend all over stove top wait until it's thick and bubbly to pour over bottom crust. Do this only when the bottom crust is almost cooked.
  2. Pour over bottom and cook at 450° for about 10 minutes until it's golden but not too burnt
