Baked Ziti

Ingredients

  • 16 oz ziti pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef or sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 (27 oz) jars spaghetti sauce
  • 1 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 6 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 6 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 TBSP fresh basil, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  3. Saute beef and onion.
  4. Add sauce and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Grease a 2 quart baking dish.
  6. Place half of the pasta in a dish, layer with Provolone and Mozzarella cheese.
  7. Spread half of the sauce and sour cream over the cheese.
  8. Repeat.
  9. Add a layer of Parmesan cheese and basil.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes
