Banana Bran Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 30g wheat bran flakes
  • 110g fresh or frozen banana
  • 125ml low fat milk
  • 100g vanilla yoghurt
  • 21g almond butter
  • 1 cup low fat latte

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth.

Follow with a takeaway coffee or a latte made at home with 1 cup of milk. Alternatively you can save for a mid-morning snack.

TIP: feel free to add a drizzle of honey, just remember to add it to your tracker as it will contribute to your indulgences for the day.

Frozen banana will add a thicker and creamier texture.
