Beer Bread
Ingredients
- 3 Cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt (Brent likes SEA SALT)
- 1 1/2 TB. baking powder (1 TB. plus 1 1/2 tsp.)
- 3 TB. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. OREGANO or BASIL or CRACKED ROSEMARY (optional)
- 1 12-oz. bottle beer, room temperature (Brent likes Stroh's, which can be hard to find. Pabst Blue Ribbon or Miller work well.)
- 1/2 stick butter (1/4 Cup), melted
- 1/4 tsp. GRANULATED GARLIC POWDER, optional
