Boodae Jjigae

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp gochugaru
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice wine or soju
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp dwenjang
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8-10 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Kimchi
  • 2oz rice cake slices, soaked in warm water for 20 minutes
  • 1/2 can spam
  • 2 links sausage
  • 4oz tofu
  • 3-5 green onions, sliced
  • 4oz sweet potato glass noodles, soaked in water for 20 minutes
  • 1oz enoki mushroom
  • 1oz oyster mushroom
  • 5 cups anchovy stock
  • 1 ramen
  • (Optional) 1 slice American cheese

Directions

  1. Mix all sauce ingredients (makes 2 boodae jjigaes)
  2. In a heavy pan, place all dry ingredients
  3. Top with sauce and broth
  4. Ready to eat when it boils
