Braised Short Ribs

Ingredients

  • 4 short ribs, brown all sides in olive oil, in stock pot, remove after browned
  • Sauté in same olive oil, 1/2 cups chopped celery, carrots, onion and 3 garlic gloves peeled. Add salt & pepper
  • Deglaze pan with I cup Chianti wine
  • Add 1/2 quartered tomatoes, 7 sprigs rosemary, 3 bay leaves & salt & pepper
  • Add 10 cups beef broth
  • Add short ribs, cook 2 hours in oven or put in crock pot for 6 hrs
