***Bread In Cast Iron

Ingredients

  • 800 grams of flour
  • 1 tbsp dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 540 ml of warm water

Directions

  1. Heat oven at 425f
  2. Mix flour with salt
  3. Dissolve the yeast in the warm water
  4. In a bowl with the flour make a whole in the middle and add the water/yeast mixture.
  5. Keep mixing with spoon, no kneeding no mixer).
  6. It will be soft but don’t add anything else
  7. Cover and let rise in a warm place for one hour
  8. Heat up the cast iron pot in the oven at 425f
  9. Cover cast iron with parchment
  10. Mix dough slightly before putting inside out
  11. Sprinkle flour and make cuts
  12. Put in oven at 425f for 20 min covered
  13. Then uncover for an additional 10-15 min
  14. If you want crunchier add more time
