Ingredients

• 2 eggs
• 2 tablespoons melted butter
• 2 tablespoons vanilla
• 2 1/2 cups milk
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 1/2 to 5 cups sourdough bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
• 1/3 cup pecans, chopped finely
• For the Whiskey Cream Sauce:
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 stick butter
• 1/2 cup cream
• 1/4 cup Jack Daniels
