Cabbage And Ground Beef

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1-inch ginger (grated)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar substitute (like erythritol)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar substitute, and chili flakes. Mix well to combine.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened but still slightly crisp.
  5. Remove from heat and top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
