Chichbarak

Ingredients

  • 1KG yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 water
  • A lot of crushed garlic
  • Butter
  • Dried mint
  • Salt

Directions

  1. Put the yogurt in pan, add salt and the full egg to it and keep mixing them slowly on a low heat. Do not stop mixing until it starts boiling and looks like milk. Once it is boiling add 1 cup and a half water. When they boil again you can add the chichbarak. (Keep them for 15mins until the chichbarak is cooked)
  2. Crush the garlic and fry it with a bit off butter and the dried mint. Once the garlic becomes cooked, add them all to the chichbarak pan.
  3. If the yogurt is thick, we can add a bit more water.
  4. In the whole process, do not cover the pans.
