Coffee Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup fresh cream or double cream or Amul Cream .
  • 1 cup dairy whitener, about 200 gms ( here I always prefer Nescafé over every other brand)
  • 2 tbsp Bru Instant Coffee
  • 5 tbsp Sugar

Directions

  1. Mix the coffee pdr and sugar with the milk In a blender. Ensure the sugar has dissolved
  2. Then add the cream and the dairy whitener and one more whirrrrrr of the blender.
  3. And you are ready to pour your ice cream into your tray and into the freezer it goes .
  4. When it freezes about one inch from the sides ( about 2 hours) out it comes to be whipped smooth with a electric beater .
  5. Re freeze and then whipp again. In all do this exercise Three times .
  6. Freeze overnight or for at least 5 hrs before serving , with fruits and nuts of your choice Or just by itself .
  7. The above is the basic recipe .
  8. In this batch I added 1/2 tsp cinnamon and a dash of Vanilla extract.
  9. And garnished with coffee flavored chocolate chips.
