If using bamboo skewers, soak in hot water for 30 minutes prior to use.
Place all ingredients other than meat in a food processor and blend until well combined.
Thread meat onto 8 skewers and place in a shallow dish. Pour over marinade, turning kebabs to coat throughly. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a grill plate or barbecue grill to hot. Grill kebabs for 2 minutes each side - 8 minutes in total or until done to your liking. (During cooking, brush kebabs with leftover marinade.)
