Prep time is very fast. Less than 10 minutes. Add elbow macaroni to crock pot. Add butter, egg, salt and pepper. Add whole milk and evaporated milk. Stir. Place cheese on top of macaroni. Cook on high for 45 minutes. Stir to mix in cheeses. Continue to cook on high for another hour. Stirring every 20 minutes or so. When mixture is well blended and cheese is mostly melted, reduce to low for another half hour to 45 minutes until done.
