French Toast Roll-Ups
Ingredients
- Bread:
- 8 slices white bread
- Filling:
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- Diced strawberries
- French toast mixture:
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 3 T milk
- Cinnamon sugar:
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 heaping t cinnamon
Directions
- Cut off bread crusts and flatten using a rolling pin
- Spread cream cheese and diced strawberries covering about 1/3 of each bread , then roll tightly
- Beat eggs and mix them in a bowl with the melted butter and milk
- Dip rolls in egg mixture, coating lightly and evenly
- Brown rolls in a skillet on medium
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl
- Remove rolls from skillet and toss in cinnamon sugar
