  • 1 cup chickpea flour [besan]
  • ¼ cup yogurt
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¾ teaspoon coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon ajwain [carom seeds]
  • ¼ teaspoon garam masala powder
  • salt, to taste
  • 1-2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • For Curry
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 2 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup whisked yogurt, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1.25 teaspoon coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala powder
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried mango powder [amchur]
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon kasuri methi, crushed [dried fenugreek leaves]
  • water, as required
  • salt, to taste
  • cilantro, to garnish
