Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 200g oats
  • 100g pumpkin seeds
  • 50g sunflower seeds
  • 50g almomds, chopped
  • 100g butter
  • 3 tbsp (45ml) honey
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 100g gogi berries (can be substituted with any other preferred berry)
  • 1 tsp (5ml) ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degreesC
  2. Place oats, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and almonds onto a baking tray and roast for about 10 minutes or until golden
  3. Melt butter, honey and sugar in a pot until butter has melted and sugar has dissolved
  4. Add toasted seed mix, berries and cinnamon. Stir until well combined
  5. Spoon into a lightley greased baking tin and press down firmly
  6. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes
  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool in tin before cutting into bars
  8. Serve with tea, coffee, lunch or a snack.
