Ingredients

  • Sorry for the delay folks. Here's the recipe for Gulab-E-Gulkand :)
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Fresh Cream - 2 tbsp
  • Gulkand - 2 tbsp (For more sweetness, add a tbsp more)
  • Rose essence - 1/4 tsp
  • Rose syrup - 1 tsp (optional - I added to give mild colour )
  • Rose petals - reserve some for garnishing
  • How to go ahead:
  • - Take a non - stick pan. Add milk and cream with few rose petals.
  • - When it starts to simmer, turn the heat off.
  • - Remove the pan and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  • - Strain the mixture as we don't want the petals. Let the mixture cool down completely.
  • - Transfer it to a blender. Add gulkand, rose essence, and rose syrup.
  • - Blend it on high for 2 minutes.
  • - Transfer the cold soup to a bowl/mason jar. Garnish with rose petals and serve.

  • PS. I had made fresh gulkand at home by following recipe from this source.
