Ingredients

  • Ground Beef (or Ground Turkey/Chicken): 1 lb supplies a hearty body to the soup.
  • Onion 1 small dice (for flavor and sweetness)
  • Garlic: 3 large cloves, minced (for flavor depth)
  • – Low-Carb Marinara Sauce: 2 cups (make sure it is sugar-free if using on keto)
  • 1 Beef Broth (or Chicken Broth): 4 cups; *This forms the base of the soup
  • 1 /2 cup: Heavy Cream (for creaminess and richness)
  • Italian Seasoning: 1 tbsp (for classic lasagna flavor)
  • Ricotta Cheese : 1/2 cup (this help in creamy texture)
  • Topped up with melted mozzarella cheese 1 cup, grated* (it melts into the soup so it’s all gooey and delicious)
  • 1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese (which contributes a bit of salty, nutty flavor)
  • Zucchini or Cauliflower 2 cups, diced/sliced (low-carb pasta substitute)
  • 1/4 cup Freshly Chopped Basil (to add flavour and for a garnish)
