Leftover Cranberry Sauce and Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 6 Granny Smith Apples
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups leftover cranberry sauce (homemade, not canned)
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 4 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups quick oats
  • 8 TBSP cold butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Grease a 9X13 pan.

Core, slice, and peel the apples into 1/4 inch thick slices.
In a large bowl, toss together the apples with the leftover cranberry sauce.
Pour the fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it into an even layer.

In a small bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and oats until combined.
Cube the butter, then add it to the bowl working it into the oat mixture with you fingers until well incorporated.
Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the fruit.
Place on baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes, when the oats are toasted and fruit is bubbling.
