Lemon Herb Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt plus more for the pasta water
  • 1 lb fusilli or rotini pasta
  • 10 oz frozen peas about 2 cups
  • 1/2 c slivered almonds
  • 1 Tbsp lemon zest plus 1/2 cup lemon juice; from 3 lemons
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 shallot chopped
  • 1/2 c olive oil
  • 1 1/2 c marinated artichoke hearts drained and coarsely chopped
  • 1 1/2 c fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 c fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 8 oz feta cheese cut into small cubes
