Mie Goreng

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbs Kecap Manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce)
  • 2 Tbs sambal (chili paste)
  • 2 tsp dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 350g egg noodles- dry, fresh, semi-fresh doesn’t matter, just prepare by following the package you are using.
  • 4 Tbs cooking oil, divided
  • 200g prawns or any other protein you prefer
  • 200g chicken thigh
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped (approximately 2 tsp)
  • 1. shallot, chopped (approximately 1/2 cup)
  • 2 carrot, julienned (approximately 2 Tbs)
  • 200g leaf vegetable such as yu choy, bok choy, green cabbage and etc
  • 100g beansprouts
  • 2 Tbs fried shallot
  • Egg for each person.
