Season pot roast with salt, pepper, and montreal seasoning
Sear roast on both sides in oiled pan
remove roast, and add 1/2 stick of butter to pan
Add onions, carrots, garlic, jar of peperoncini peppers and juice, the 3 seasoning packets, tomato sauce and water.
Bring mixture to boil and then let it simmer for about 5 mins
put pot roast in a slow cooker, cover with gravy mixture, turn to high for 8 hours
