Momma’s Chili

Ingredients

  • (2) ground beef
  • (3 cans) red kidney beans
  • (3 cans) chili beans
  • (1) white onion
  • (1 lg can) tomato sauce
  • (1 can) diced tom — optional
  • Chili powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions

  1. Cook ground beef. Drain of fat & add in chopped onions. Sauté. Add in pinch of chili powder, salt, pepper.
  2. Put meat & onions into crockpot or large pot. Add in beans, tomato sauce & diced tomatoes. Mix. Add more chili powder to taste (I normally put quite a bit, but it’s flexible).
  3. Let it get nice & hot. Serve. Mmmm.
