Pancakes Old Fashion

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 3/4 cups milk or buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  2. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg, vanilla and melted butter;
  3. mix until smooth.
  4. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
  5. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
  6. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
