Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

  • Chicken:
  • 2 Boneless / Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • For Creamy Garlic Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup cream
  • 4 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped for garnish

Directions

Prepping the Chicken:

  1. 1. Begin by patting the chicken breasts dirty with paper towels. This helps the coating stick better.
  2. 2. In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs. Dip each chicken breasts first in the egg mixture, then dredge thoroughly in the flour mixture

Baking the Chicken:

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. 2. Place the coated chicken on a baking Tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. 3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  1. 1. While the chicken bakes, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant about 1-2 mins
  3. 3. Gradually whisk in the heavy cream, remaining Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Let simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5-7 mins.
