  • for the Shrimp
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 dashes hot sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • for the Hoisin Sauce
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter, crunchy or creamy
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • for the Stir Fry
  • 1/2 pound pasta: fettuccine, spaghetti, ramen or rice noodles
  • 1/4 cup butter or 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1 medium onions, sliced thin
  • 4 medium carrots, shredded (use largest holes of grater)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro or 2 sliced green onions - for garnish
