- For the Strawberry Layer:
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 package plain gelatin (approximately 1 tablespoon)
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 3 pints strawberries, washed and hulled
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Additional strawberries for garnish (optional)
