Tara's Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 Bananas, very ripe
  • 1/2 Cup Margarine
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Cup Pecan or Walnut, pieces

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients and beat till well blended.
  2. Pour into a well greased 2 lb coffee tin (I know it sounds crazy, but try it!!! but make sure your coffee tin doesn't have a lip, it makes it hard to get the bread out when it is done).
  3. Place in Slow Cooker.
  4. Cover tin with 6 paper towels.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 2 1/2 hours.
  6. Let cool for awhile in tin, then slide out of tin and slice and serve.
